“Great place to stay”

We stayed on a Friday night as we were going to a concert in the Odyssey Arena and then on to a party in the function area of this hotel. Our room was newly decorated to a really high standard and was spacious, luxurious and filled with great touches like a Nespresso machine and an iPod dock. The best feature was the bathroom which had a beautiful slipper bath and a great shower. All of the staff we dealt wih were really friendly and helpful and although the only meals we had were had a club sandwich from the bar and breakfast, these were also excellent. Our friend's 50th birthday party was in the upstairs part of the function area and was really well organised. This is a super hotel and I'd recommend it most highly to anyone looking to stay in the North Down area.

Room Tip: Ask if Room 206 is available!

My wife and i stayed 2 nights in the clandeboye lodge for my wifes birthday. as soon as we arrived we had a friendly welcome from the receptionist. room was lovely nice extra touches, we had dinner both nights at the hotel greeted by Chris Mc Fadden the manager who was very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble for him. We then were served by a charming young lady called Aisling who could not do enough for us.. the food was lovely both chefs were excellent.. attention to detail second to none... and great value for money.. overall the stay at the clandeboye was lovely and will return in the future could not fault this hotel in any way

“Wedding Guest!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Attended a wedding on Jan 21st and just wanted to say how fab the Clandeboye Lodge is!!

The Wedding was the only event on, we were really looked after so well, even when the Bride & Groom went to the Beach for photos.

The bar after the ceremony room(which looked stunning by the way) was a great idea, really broke the ice with the guests, and we had a great afternoon.

I had a hair issue, and had nothing to sort it out, the girl from the office, Gia got me hairspray from her own bag and sorted my hair out for me!!! Fab Service and such a lovely girl.

Then we were called back upstairs to a fabulous suite which looked stunning, apparently there was also a mishap with the cake topper, but the staff sorted it out with out the Bride even knowing!!!

The food was amazing, how they can cater for so many guests in such a short space of time, and get it so right it beyond me!! The profiteroles were amazing too!!!

I cant express enough how great the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel was, probably just one issue is that the day had to end! I did not have the opportunity to stay over, but I will be arranging this for the future!!!!

Definately have your wedding here, and invite me please!!!!!

“Great Stay, super suite.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

We stayed at the Clandeboye Lodge last night for my partners 30th birthday and the stay really exceeded our expectations. We were given a friendly welcome on the way in by the receptionist who reconfirmed our dinner booking and explained what was included in our booking. The hotel itself was very welcoming on a cold and wet night as the open plan, lobby, bar and restaurant had a warm glow and open fire. The decor was what we were looking for, in-keeping with the surroundings of the clandeboye estate, suitably rustic but with modern touches. The room we stayed in blew us away as it was well beyond our expectation. It was a lovely Junior Suite decorated in a manner that the Merchant or a high end boutique hotel would be proud of. The bathroom especially needs to be seen to be believed. The bath and shower were modern, stylish and extravagant.
Next we went to the bar where we were greeted by a lovely warm port by the fireplace before moving to the restaurant were we enjoyed a beautiful dinner. There was good choice on the menu and all items were delicious especially the slow cooked brisket with horseradish mash. Overall a great stay, If you are wanting a quiet weekend away at a fair price then look no further.

Room Tip: Book a Junior Suite, Room 206 is great. Not surprised this place does so many weddings as the food a...

“Conference attendee”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

I was an attendee at a one day Northern Ireland Tourist Board conference/product launch and as such experienced the superb Banqueting/Conference suite and one or two of the Breakout rooms. Suffice to say that the reception entrance and meeting rooms were everything you would expect - clean, warm, comfortable with immaculate décor. All rooms have good natural light via large windows which afford pleasing views to the extensive Gardens and to the Clandeboye Estate beyond.
Lunch was an absolute treat with friendly efficient service!
