We stayed at the craigwell for one night for our wedding anniversary. We were greeted by gill who was very friendly and showed us to our room. Which was nice and clean with a lovely sea view . Plenty of towels and a good selection of tea coffee juice and biscuits. Breakfast was really good good selection of fruit and cereal and the cooked breakfast was superb. Would loved to have stayed another night. Will definitely stay again

“Most recommended!”

We stayed at the Craigwell for 2 nights as we were visiting for a wedding. From the start of our stay to the time we left we were made very welcome. We stayed in room 11, which has a lot of stairs to it, but the room has great views over the bay and was very comfortable, spotless and well decorated. There were cartons of juice and water upon arrival as well as a good choice of tea and coffee and when we ran out of anything it was happily replenished. The breakfast menu has a great choice to suit all needs and tastes and we were well catered for. The cooked english breakfast is most recommended! We had an enjoyable stay at the Craigwell and would have no hesitation in advising others to give the Craigwell a visit.

“A little taste of heaven!”

From the moment we met the welcoming, helpful, friendly Ray, who produces the best breakfasts we have ever tasted, our visit was sublime. We stayed in room 10 which has wonderful views of the bay and was very clean and comfortable. A lovely touch in the room was the bottles of water, the cartons of orange juice, breakfast bars, and a good variety of teas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning.

“Excellent hotel. Good breakfast. Spotlessly clean. Very friendly proprietors”

Had bedroom 11 which was on the top floor. 37 steps not for the fainthearted but well worth the effort. View was outstanding
