“Absolutely fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 September 2007

My wife and I stayed for a week at this fantastic B & B. Our hosts Darran and Sarah could not have been more helpful as to where to eat, places of interest etc.
The accommodation was very comfortable and the rooms were decorated to a high standard. Tea and coffee in the bedroom were always replaced on a daily basis and there was extra milk kept in a fridge at reception for your use.
The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice and cooked to perfection.
We have stayed in lots of B & B's all over the UK and we rate this as one of the best. We know it's 5 Diamonds but it should be Gold Award instead of Silver.
We will definitely return and if you go you won't regret it!

“Hospitality, second to none”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 June 2007

Apricot Lodge is set in a nice quiet location, just 5 minutes walk into the town centre. Darran and Sarah are the most hospitable hosts we have encountered. The accomodation is cozy, clean and very relaxing. The breakfasts are superb and we would recommend a stay here. We hope to visit again in the not too distant future.

“FANTASTIC WEEKEND from four travellers from Kent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 March 2007

We have just spent three nights at Apricot Lodge. We stayed in the Crocus and Country rooms. Really comfortably furnished, the beds were so comfortable.
Sarah and Darren are the perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast choice is amazing, really sets you up for the day. Perfect location for exploring the area. Sarah and Darren are incredibly knowledgable on things to do, places to go and places to eat! Will definitely be coming back.

“100% Recommended”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 September 2006

With spacious and well furnished rooms and the ideal hosts in the friendly and knowledgable Darran and Sarah we had two nights here and highly recommend this B&B.

All the luxury touches are provided, from tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival to fresh milk in a fridge in the hall for guests, a daily paper of your choice and a breakfast menu to satisfy all from children to the fussiest adult.

The location is also really good, with many places walkable for evening meals
