Everything about our stay at Number Ten was perfect. It deserves a 10!

The innkeeper, Don made us feel very welcome and had great suggestions. Our room was wonderful -- it overlooked the garden.

Breakfast was great-- they even accommodated our early departure in the morning. The location is good, too.

This is a great place to stay at a good location in Stirling -- easy walk to downtown, not too far from the castle. The room was very nice and easily accommodated our family of 4. The hosts are very nice and helpful and the price is quite reasonable. The highlight for me was the wonderful Scottish breakfast that is included with the room. Donald's oatmeal may have been the best thing I ate on the whole trip, and everything else was delicious as well (except the haggis, which is optional but I just had to try it). Great place, will stay there again if I go back.

Number Ten was my first experience in Scotland, as my flight arrived early that day and they accommodated my early arrival to town. Everything was within walking distance, a very nice location. My spacious and lovely room overlooked their beautiful backyard garden, both the room and garden were quite charming! The breakfasts were fabulous, love that Scottish bacon! Here's a tip: confer with Donald about your plans (even prior to arriving), he has great suggestions as he is very knowledgable about the area. I wish I had! I highly recommend Number Ten!

We have recently returned from a one night stay at Number 10 while doing a week long tour of part of Scotland. The owners were very welcoming and we were shown to a large, quiet room overlooking the garden. The room was well furnished and the bathroom was a very good size. The only thing I would mention is the mattress was far too soft for us (but that's personal choice). Everywhere was spotlessly clean. We liked the fact that the owner had a folder of information about Stirling and a map of the locality was included with many suggestions for restaurants, pubs etc.

You choose your breakfast the night before and they were very accommodating about a variation we wanted in the menu. It was the best breakfast we had all week, absolutely delicious and set us up for the day ahead.

You can walk into the centre of Stirling within 10 minutes, though the castle is quite a bit further (and uphill!) There is metered parking outside the hotel though on a Sunday it is free. The Castle is a definite must see. We wish we had had more time to see the rest of Stirling but at least we have a good excuse to visit again and stay at Number 10!
