“Good Value and Location”

We stayed here for two nights in October 2011. Having read some of the comments on Trip Advisor thought I would try to balance some of the comments. The rooms are on the small side so if you have a lot of luggage then this is not the place for you. However the rooms are well equiped, clean, comfortable and good value for money.

The breakfast is freshly prepared to order and there is a buffet with cereals and fresh fruit salad, which is not available everywhere.

Overall I would say this is good value for money for a B&B and would stay again.

“Good for the price”

This was a quick overnight stop for us and was adequate for our needs. The room was a little small and the place felt overcrowded at breakfast. The location was very good to be able to walk around the place.

Room Tip: Ground floor was handy.

“great bang for your buck”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 October 2011

I was a little worried about booking a room for less than 60 pds. Pleasently surprised. Location is just off the station and a short walk to the castle. The town is lovely.

Rms are clean and big enough. House was built in 1880's, and is in great shape. Owners are charming and besides cooking a breakfast you would pay 10 pounds for they are friendly and helpful. Nice local on the corner where they make you welcome. Guest house is half way up a dead end cul-de-sac so it is completely quiet.

Really can't go wrong with Munro's

“Great location, comfortable and cozy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 August 2011

This little B & B is practically in the shadow of the magnificent, restored Stirling Castle. It's also just half a block from a main street with lots of pubs and hang outs, a place to mix with the locals during the evening. We loved being here, could walk up to the castle (a pretty steep climb) in about 10 minutes, and wander through the main part of town. The proprietors are very friendly and the accommodations feel like you're staying at a friend's home. Loved it, and would definitely go back without hesitation. Also, it's very reasonably priced.

“We would stay here again.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 August 2011

This B&B is an easy walk from the train station. At the top of the street there are 70 steps raising you to the next level in a relatively short walk to Stirling Castle. The B&B was very clean with free wireless Internet and a great full Scottish breakfast.

Scottish B&B's do not supply a top sheet on the bed. We don't like to sleep under a duvet in the summer so the proprietress, Ena, provided us with a flat sheet.
