We stayed in Kilronan house for 2 nights while attending wedding in the area. We loved our stay here. House is in lovely area with nice walk away from the village and restaurants there. The owner was super friendly and helpful and gave good advice when we were looking for a nice short hike in the area. He even borrowed us maps. The breakfast was very good and room nice and clean.

We stayed at Kilronan house for 2 nights in mid Dec and thoroughly enjoyed our stay .From the time we arrived we were made to feel really welcome by Linda and Colin.The room was spacious and very comfortable, we stayed in the room with en-suite.Despite the cool winter weather the house was lovely and warm and certainly 4 star quality.
we would highly recomend a stay at Kilronan House and make sure you don't miss the breakfast-SUPERB!
Last but not least, loved the little Scottish and Aussie flags at breakfast- nice touch!

Kilronan House offers real value for money, my room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfasts are excellent! Very friendly hosts Colin and Linda have a wealth of knowledge of things to see and do in the local area and further afield (Edinburgh and Glasgow). Will definitely return again.

I found my stay at Kilronan to be very pleasant. The building is extremely well kept and a delight to spend time in, located in a very beautiful street. There was a high attention to detail, the breakfast menu was varied and used good quality ingredients, prepared to a high standard. I was impressed by the hospitality provided and Linda and Colin were extremely helpful i.e. the morning before my departure Colin offered to help defrost the car. I was very well looked after, enjoying a level of accommodation that far exceeded what might be expected for this price bracket. I would recommend Kilronan House without hesitation.
