“Very nice clean and tidy highly recommended”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

This was the first B&B we have been to and i can say will use again for sure.
The lady owner was very friendly and made my partner and I very welcome, We were given good advise about the area and how to get to places.
The room was fab with views to the foot of the castle and the old kings gardens, It was well equipped and very clean for a great nights sleep.
We will be booking again very soon and i would recommend Castlecroft for a great place to stay.
P.S
The breakfast was very very good filled us up for the rest of the day.
Thankyou once again (Stuart & Louise)

“An excellent Bed and Breakfast”

I've now stayed at Castlecroft on 3 occasions and have found it consistently excellent. The welcome is warm, the rooms are spotless and well equipped and the breakfast is delicious. Home-made bread and local haggis are among the delights! Nothing is too much trouble for the people running Castlecroft. I would heartily recommend it.

“A jewel to be discovered at the foot of the castle”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 November 2011

My wife and I are are keen motorcycle tourers and like to stay in B&B's when we can as they tend to me a little more personable that a hotel.

The very first thing you notice is the beautiful location, then the very warm and friendly welcome. our rooms were down on the lower level so this meant it was easier to bring our panniers in from the bikes.

There are 2 ground level rooms which you should choose if you are on a motorbike, if you turn up wet from rain there is a patio area out side your room you can shake of wet bike gear before stepping into your room, very convenient.

It is not far from town and the walk is quite lovely so after a day in the saddle there is a pleasant stroll to dinner to stretch the legs out

My wife and I are looking forward to going back and spending a few days instead of just the one.

The breakfast is great, got us well fuelled up for a days riding.

“A night in the forrest”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 October 2011

Excellent comunication from the get go and impecable service. The House is located on the foot of the castle hill, a 15min walk (through the woods) from the center of stirling. Rabits, squirrels and cows abound. We had a great time. Highly recommended.

“Homely, comfortable and welcoming.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 October 2011

Stayed at the Castlecroft for two nights with my two kids. Booked the family room, which was very ample for all of us. This was my second stay at Castlecroft and I'm glad to say that everything about our stay was great. Laura was as helpful as usual, kids enjoyed the free Internet and store of games/DVDs to keep them occupied and as a brilliant B&B should be, the Breakfast would outdo a 5 star superior hotel. Can't wait to return.
