Stayed here In November last year. Just catching up on some reviews.

Was brilliant, and we got a really good winter deal on the Barcelo website, driving up and seeing all the scaffold was a bit off putting but when you got inside it was lovely.

Room was beautiful and very comfortable. Hotel is central to everything and the breakfast was everything you could want buffet style hot and cold.

If going back to Stirling I would stay here again!

“Perfect location”

Just a short stroll into town where there are shops and pubs etc
Rooms nice enough but shower was awful! The bar area is quaint and comfy and staff are nice
Breakfasts are good and dinner excellent only gripe that the tables were too close to each other making it a bit uncomfortable to chat!
Would definitely return though as overall quite good

“barcelo stirling highland hotel; an excellent stay”

My wife and I are just back from a weekend at the Barcelo Stirling Highland hotel. The hotel is a clever rebuild of an old High School ( complete with and Observatory on its' roof which you can request to see and which gives superb views of Stirling and surroundings ). The staff all aimed to please, the rooms were excellent and the food was first class. High recommended.

Just enjoyed third visit to this hotel and yet again found it hard to fault a thing... staff very friendly and room and facilities great. Food has been excellent each visit too. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Best thing ! Doug the concierge showing us around the observatory. He knows his stuff that chap !
All the staff were really nice and make you very welcome.
