“Great food eventually but terrible, terrible service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 November 2011

Family birthday event in private room - restuarant only. Tables not laid, drinks order after arrival took nearly 30 minutes and time to take food order nearly 60 minutes. Food then further 30 minutes for starters - continual request for drinks. A couple of members of staff very apologetic but manager could not have been more disinterested and removed from proceedings - apparently staff member off explained everything!!!!

Food when it did come was very good and well presented but had to request things like salt, pepper, sauce for the kids, fresh cutlery, napkins....absolutely awful service by management and for service alone will not be back! Absolutely disgusting behaviour by the management.

“Solid 4* Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 November 2011

Stayed for 1 night on Saturday 12 of Nov. Firstly, the building itself is really nice, however its situated near a busy roundabout but i never heard any traffic while in my room or in the restaurant. Free overnight car park was a bonus, all the city centre hotels i have stayed in usually charge for car park.

Service was friendly, relaxed and efficient, showed to my room as soon as i arrived. Room was nice, was huge.Nice decor, comfy bed etc, strong power shower which I loved. TV isnt the best, Signal on the freeview was battling sometimes. There is only 7 rooms in this hotel, which means no/little noise in middle of night from people coming in from nights out etc. There isn't a seperate Reception area but thats not a problem as there is a small check in desk attached to the bar.

Breakfast was cracking. I had full Scottish Breakfast, you can have a 3 course breakfast if you wish, all table service. We got the room and breakfast for under £90 and if you can get it at that price, its a really good deal. Full price room is £140 which may be a little overpriced.

Went to Kama Sutra Indian Restaurant for dinner which is a 5 min walk from hotel. Amazing place, would recommend to go there for dinner.

“Really disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 November 2011

We decided to go to Adamo Stirling for dinner last night as we hadn't been for a while. The service was really poor. Although they were trying they were all obviously new and had hardly any training. We were left for ages before we even ordered a drink, asked if we wanted to order twice and then when our wine came our glass was dirty. We were asked if we wanted a glass poured?? Surely that is a silly question. We were then served our meal. My starter of scallops was really good and especially tasty although my family werent so impressed. Steaks were tasty but the onion rings were dripping in grease. We had a coffee and returned to Adamo Bridge of Allan for drinks as the level of service in the sister hotel is second to none and the cocktails are excellent. A little disappointing to say the least.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 November 2011 via mobile

Stay here for work and it is a nicer hotel than some in Stirling ! Food is good especially breakfast ! My only niggle is the tv in the room is flaky ! Cannot change channel and quite often looses signal!
Staff are lovely and very welcoming

“Lovely Place with superb food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 October 2011

We had a great stay here - in a modern and comfortable room. The staff are exceptionally friendly.

However we had problems using the TV (i.e. it took a very long time to change channels, and it wasn't the remote) which we reported so hopefully the TVs in the hotel will be replaced shortly.

We ate in the restaurant and the quality and value of the food was superb (we had the 3 course set menu for £13). Highly recommended.
