Forgot to write a review having stayed in the Ambers in July 2011, but as i was discussing with my wife where to stay next year, the Ambers was top of our list. The only one really, as the hosts were great, friendly and considerate. The breakfast was to die for, and the transfers to and from the airport first class. No waiting around, just perfect. The appartment we booked was clean and catered for both myself, my wife, daughter, and father in-law. Cannot fault the service, and hence the reason for writing this review, as often people who work hard and are genuilly nice people, need recognition. Hope to see you next year.

Clean and comfortable, with friendly owner. Nearby pub (Ye Olde Six Bells ) had good food for an evening meal and cosy log fire. Nice breakfast and swift transfer to airport. Would definately stay here again.

It is begining to become a habit, when we have to visit Surrey we stay at the Ambers. Thank you Clive and Jackie for your consistant high standards in your welcome, the cleanliness and as for that breackfast!! I would travel up every Sunday morning for a feast like that. Having spent a few weekends away this summer in both Devon and Cornwall the ambers is still by far the better value. We have already booked for February prior to flying from Gatwick to go skiing.

Stayed one night before flight from Gatwick.
Very friendly welcome. Room fine for one night.
Didnt have breakfast as flight was early but was kindly offered it on our return home. Did not stop for it as we wanted to just get on our way home.
Good transfers both ways.
Would use again
