Having previously stayed at another Guest House in Massetts Road and been disappointed with the accommodation we were a little apprehensive as to what to expect. We could not have been more pleased with our room and the service received. All the positive reviews are correct, the breakfast is excellent,the rooms clean, the transfer to and from Gatwick is smooth and Donal is a very obliging and pleasant host.Horley is a great place to spend the evening before a long haul flight with good food and drink (Olde six bells) and so much better than being restricted to the confines of the Airport.
We would definitely recommend a stay here and will be staying overnight again in November 2012.

An excellent place to stay when getting a flight or returning from overseas. Donal couldn't be more helpful. He is totally reliable and we really appreciate being taken to the airport and collected at whatever time day or night. The rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast was 100% delicious. It is wonderful to be able to leave the car and know that it will be safe.Donal is always ready to help and nothing seems too much trouble. We have now stayed with him 6 times and can thoroughly recommend this Bed and Breakfast.

We stayed at Glenalmond Guest House on our final night back to the States. We also invited our London friend down for the night as well. Donal is a dream! He picked us up at the airport (as we took a direct bus from Oxford into Gatwick) and our friend up from the Horley train station, also dropped us all off in various places the next day.

All our rooms were very clean and well laid out, small, but the lounge/living room downstairs allowed us to visit and the breakfast room and backyard were lovely. The shower pressure was the best of all our stays in England. The local pub/restaurant (Six Bells) was a short walk and the food was great! I am so glad that we stayed here rather than a "chain" hotel. Donal and his mother/daughter staff were just so much fun and there were lots of repeat guests saying the same thing!

Have stayed at lots of airport hotels and used car parking facilities, and Glenalmond was the best ever - and almost as cheap as leaving car at airport car park without the stress and hassle. Can't praise service enough - airport transfers catered to your individual requirement - unlike larger hotels where you have a bus with limited service so you end up waiting around. Room had everything we needed and more. Breakfast was delicious - cooked fresh by 2 delightful ladies - far better than usual buffet style lukewarm efforts of larger hotels. Loads of eating places in walking distance - again much better than most airport hotels where you end up paying inflated prices to eat at hotel as that is the only option. Will be recommending to friends. Ken and Joy
