Booked this place on the Holiday extras hidden hotel site, big mistake, the room was right over the road, the secondary window did'nt close properly, the room was shabby with mould obvious in the bathroom, we were not only kept awake all night by the road and plane noise but also by the rediculous posistion of the smoke detector right above the bed, so had a bright red light flashing all night to contend with. The site advertises a around the world buffet with the night we were stayin suposedly being American buffet night but there was no sign of it and when I asked the(foriegn) waiter he did'nt understand what I meant! Have to say the food that was offered was well presented and tasty though. Definately not a relaxing start to a long haul flight the next day.

We booked 2 rooms here 10th January 2012 before a flight to Miami the next day. We booked with booking extras and had 19 nights parking included, the hotel name was not disclosed until full payment at the booking process. I read the reviews and my heart sank...
On arrival we were greated and told we were a bit early, but we ordered drinks from the bar and after 40 minutes we went back to check in. We were then told the rooms were still not available and would be another 30 minutes. We waited again then went back but told again the rooms would be ready after 4pm I mentioned we had already waited and that we could have gone into London if we knew. So, we were given keys then and went to the rooms to leave the luggage. Can I say, the rooms were perfect, clean, spacious and obviously had been refurbished, We could not find fault and we did look believe me. So, in all, it was a great stay. We didn't eat breakfast there as we felt £17.50 was over the top for a cooked breakfast. The pub over the road is great for evening food and good priced drinks. The hotel is large, older and they seem to be spending money updating rooms. Keep this in mind when you book.

We stayed in this hotel for new years eve we found the hotel easy to get to and great for buses and the tube.The hotel was busy but not to loud or overcrowded the room was a good size and clean,the breakfast was superb, all in all a nice stay.

My wife and I stayed in this hotel on Saturday 28th 2012. After reading the bad reviews on this site we were both concerned. A very quick check in ensued with the staff coming on to our coach and giving us our room keys. The room itself was clean and well presented. However at first our remote control for the TV did not work, a quick call to the house keeping dept was made and a replacement was with us within in minutes. This is where the story goes a bit weird. On turning on the TV we had the choice of two channels both containing porn. My wife and I are no prudish by any standards but this was way out of our comfort zone. Another phone call to house keeping resulted in a guy called CAESER coming to the room. I would like at this point ask the management to give him a reward and recognition of some sort. To save my wifes blushes he turned he volume down and turned the screeen away from her whilst he sorted the problem out. Thank you CAESER. A lovely evening meal followed with a good disco. The bed was so soft I had the best night sleep I have had for a while. A good buffet breakfast follwed, however the waitress coffee service was very slow and we had to keep asking for a tea or a coffee, this followed with the fact a waitress tried to take my wifes plate off her on three seperate occasions despite the fact that she had no finished her breakfast , took the shine off the expeience. All in all not bad But once again CAESER was the star of the show
