We always use the Sheraton Heathrow for one-night layovers. It's not new or fancy, but serves very well for the purpose at a relatively low cost if booked online. Ask for an upper floor room - we were awakened at 0400 by an elephant in spike heels trampling above us while in a ground floor room. On the return, a 3rd floor room was quiet, though doors allow some hallway noise to pass through. The bar offers light fare and the restaurant both a la carte and nice buffets at moderate prices. Other options are within walking distance. The free Starwood Preferred Guest program offers some added benefits. Staff has always been helpful and friendly.

Website advertisement very misleading. Checked in at 12 PM and went straight to the Club. Iti s small, no staff,, no newspapers or magazines, and was filthy. Looked like a basement play room for teenagers. The advertised "munchies"and free internet amounted to a few apples and few remaining pretzel bags. Free internet was a draw but there are two computers and one was not working. The breakfast stuff had not been picked or cleaned since the morning. The foor sticky. Credit to the hotel, I went down and asked to be downgraded to a normal room and they agreed. So I saved the extra money for the disappointing Club. Having said all this I would return to this hotel. The rooms are nice, comparable to the Heathrow Hilton at T4, thre staff is very nice, and so are the common facilities in the lobby. While I did not use it, across the street there is a McDonals and a gas station with a convenience store --which I am sure can be handy.

We stayed here in early November to break up our trip from India back to Canada. It was very close to the airport, nice rooms and amenities. The staff were all nice, and there was free internet in the front lobby. We didn't eat or drink here, but instead went to the "White Horse Pub" just a few minutes away. The front desk called them and they came and picked us up from the hotel since it was raining. We had our dinner and a couple of pints there. It is really nice 400 year old pub!

I booked this through Hotwire and got a great rate for an overnight stay before our honeymoon to California.

Nice rooms and great location. We made our way to and from the hotel using the local buses that are free within a certain radius of Heathrow.

Check in was fast and efficient and the room was spacious and very clean.

We went to the hotel bar for a drink before deciding where to dine for the evening. After paying over £9 for a glass of wine for the missus, we decided to eat offsite and went to the local MacDonalds which is about 100M away. Maybe not as nice but hell of a lot cheaper!

We did have a slight issue with the mini bar in the fact that my partner decided to examine every item and remove it from the rack before reading the signs warning about the mini bar sensors! On check out, all mini bar charges (and there were a few!) were removed.

All in all, a good airport hotel in a great location for Heathrow.
