Room price for a Sunday - £34.95 - great value for a LOndon airport hotel.

We stayed on a very cold day and the hotel was cosy. They were fine about storing a case for us for a couple of days before we checked in for our last night before an early morning departure from terminal 4. A free bus ride from the terminal 123 bus station, the room was compact but comfortable.

Staying for only one night the room was lovely and got for under £40. Very clean, tidy and nice staff.

My wife and I stayed here in February 2012 for one night after a 13 hr flight from Thailand, arriving at about 2130 hrs and basically because it was close to Heathrow and we had to fly out from Gatwick the next morning. The room was very small, I would have said it was a single room with 2 undersized singlebeds in allowing it to be marketed as a double room. It was clean but trying to get in and out with 2 suitcases was a nightmare. We booked well in advance and paid £55. If I had been asked for any more having walked in off the street without a booking I would not have stayed. The food in the bar was basic but filling and one vodka with tonic, one pint of beer and 2 jacket potatoes with tuna was about £18. As usual however for a hotel the choice of beers was limited to one type of bitter or several types of lager. I would not stay there again.
