This B&B is located one road behind the promenade, so a minutes walk to the pier or the other way to the main shopping walkway. Good for us as we couldn't afford the extortionate prices of Ramada but were close enough to attend a wedding reception held there and stumble back in the wee hours.
There are 8 bedrooms in total, ours was bedroom number 8 which is at the very top of the hotel and had 2 single beds and 1 double in the room, so suitable for a family. The en-suite shower room was on the small side and may not be suitable for family use but there were plenty of towels provided. One point is that the attic window had not been fitted with a blind or curtain so let in a lot of sunlight in the morning.
Breakfast was served promptly and was a good sized portion with traditional english grub though when full you may need to pre-order and have an allocated time in order not to have too crowded breakfast room.
Despite being full that weekend, we were well attended to by Christine who made sure we had a good nights stay and topped up coffee at breakfast.
Parking is limited though sometimes driveways are shared with other B&Bs, check with her first to make sure there's no aggro with some other hotel owners who don't allow others onto their drives.
p.s. we checked the bar tariff and though didn't make use of this, the prices looked very reasonable.
Good value, good service and I would recommend this B&B to anyone.
