The Gables hotel is located just off the North end of the promenade, about 10 to 15 minutes walk from Lord Street.
It has a good size car park, but you would be able to cark on the street if required too. We received a freindly welcome on arrival and were told we could come and go as we please. This was good as we rolled back in at 2.45am after attending a wedding! The room was a good size with on suite bathroom. Breakfast both mornings we stayed was very good. The only down side was that the bath in our room did not have a shower attachment. But all in all it was an enjoyable stay and would stay there again if I was in Southport.
