“not full size double beds”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 November 2009

a nice place to stay.very handy for town.car parking available.very clean.nice breakfast. we booked a double room and had one that contained a set of bunk beds as well!! the only down side of our stay was the size of the so called double beds.they were only 3/4 size beds. when the proprietor was asked about this he insisted that all the beds were the same size and stated that we were obviously wrong. sorry but i had my tape measure out and ours only measured 42 inches.I do not like being called a liar.

“lovely holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 September 2009

We stayed at the Kingsbridge guest house for a few days in August and had a lovely time. From the moment we got there we were made to feel really welcome by Huw & NIcky & nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely & breakfast was fantastic! Can highly recommend the boiled eggs! It was really handy to be able to park the car in the garage at the B&B as the parking can be quite tricky in Tenby. It was a short walk to the town centre where there is plenty going on & nice pubs & restaurants, Can recommend Cube for a lovely meal & the buccaneer Inn is good for food & live music. We would like to take our daughter with us next time for a break & will be returning, Thanks again Huw & Nicky for a lovely holiday!

“Fab trip once again!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 August 2009

Just returned from our 4th stay in as many years at this guest house. It really is a hidden gem!
Nicky and Huw have kept thier standards high and the level of hospitality they provide is great.

The rooms - we have stayed in nearly all of them now, all are really clean and provide ample refreshments, clean fluffy towels, hairdryers, clock radios etc.

The breakfast - honestly one of the best we have eaten, and we have stayed in our fair share of top London Hotels! Nicky is always willingly to make whatever combination of full Welsh you require :)

The location - just a short walk away from the sea front, which means you are only a short distance away from any of the lovely beaches in Tenby.
(There are also limited parking spaces available too, with public parking just 1 minute away - something which certainly lacks elsewhere in Tenby)

“lovely stay and clean accomodation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 March 2009

the bed and breakfast run by the owners who are extremely helpful. the b&b is close to town centre on a side street away from passin g traffic.
there is a couple of parking spaces available, however the railway station is 1 minutes walk away from the b&b and parking is £2.70 per day and there are at least a dozen cctv cameras at the car park.

the rooms are tastefully decorated and all are en suite, there's even shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms!!!

the beds are comfortable and the rooms are warm, the golf course is approx 5 mins walk away, the beach is approx 15 mins easy walk from tbe south beach - its a lovely walk from the b&b to tenby town centre via the beach and takes approx 40 mins easy stroll

the b&b is less than 10 mins walk to the 5 arches which is more or less the centre of the town and the espanade

the breakfast full welsh and is outstanding with no stop orange juice, tea/coffee and toast

in summary the b&b is in a cracking location, very clean and tidy and very helpful staff - no complaints and would definatley stay here again

“Absolute Gem!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 October 2006

I've stayed in Tenby many a time and this guest house is by far the best value for money i've come across. It was the cleanest and the most friendly accomodation that we've stayed in and strangely it was the cheapest! The rooms were lovely and clean with attention paid to the smallest detail. The proprietors were so welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was just what you need after a night out on Tenby's tiles! We travelled with a vegetarian too and usually she is made to eat beans on toast as a substitute for a cooked breakfast but that was not the case here, they even served up veggie sausages for her accompanied by the usual full breakfast.

Will definately go back!

  • Liked — It was clean, bright and great value for money
  • Disliked — A few too many stairs but what do you expect in a townhouse?!?
  • Tips/Secrets — Try here before anywhere else in Tenby, lovely little guesthouse
