“Kiln Park Caravan Park”

I have been going to Kiln Park since I was a toddler with my family, Im now 23 and still go quite often (last time I visited was last August!). I would recomend this park for families mainly. Ive stayed in numerous caravans over the years and would suggest you book direct with the caravan owners rather than going through Haven...you'll save yourself alot of money this way. The park is located right next to one of Tenby's beaches and is about a 10-15 minute walk to Tenby town, where there are more beaches and lots of places to eat and shop.

Anyway back to the park - there is a lovely pizza takeaway/sit in restaurant which also deliver to your caravan, the restaurant (i think is called Mash & Barrell???) serves nice food, and is ideal to sit during the nights, there is also a Burger King if you want a quick bite to eat. There is a convenience store which has everything you need. Alot of the park has been newly landscaped, and last year we stayed in a lovely caravan with everything we needed, we even managed to have a bbq on 2 nights as the weather was so nice.

My only gripe about the park, is the passes for the club house. Unsure of the price, but all you get for it is free swimming and entry into the clubhouse, everything else you pay for inside!! But luckily we found a way of saving ourselves a few pounds with the passes ;)

Any questions feel free to ask me

“Very good holiday overall”

We went to Kiln park in October on a touring holiday and we enjoyed our stay at kiln park. It is a very nice Haven park set just outside of Tenby witch is a very pritty little town, and the park is not to far away from one of the nicest beaches i have seen. The complex was very good, and lots for children to do on park. The only thing we had a problem was with the touring block you could tell as soon as you go there that it is very old and needs updating, the cleaners there were working very hard to keep the place clean but not everyone respected it and decided to make the place dirty witch meant the cleaners had to work even hard to make the experience for everyone else good!

“kiln park camping, good site but the showers were awful.”

We have just come back from a week in a touring caravan, thought we would go as we had been a couple of years ago and the site was brilliant but this time i must say that it has changed and not for the better. Unfortunately it had rained alot so most of the pitches were out of use but they put us on a very nice pitch with room for just 4 caravans, which i found very handy with a dog and 2 children. However when we went for a shower we noticed that there was a horrible smell coming from them and they were very dirty, My 2 children who are 2 and 4 found it very difficult in the shower as they are very powerful. There was all mould in the showers and the floors were very dirty, sometimes there was an awful smell that came from the shower and toilet block. On the upside the entertainment complex was very good and the shop was a resonable price for most things. I would go again but only for a week at the most i definitely wouldnt pay the prices asked for in the 6 weeks holiday as it isnt worth it.

“Kiln Park camping. Great but clean the shower block more.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 October 2011

Stayed for 2 nights camping on the 30th September. Excellent site, excellent facilities, reasonable prices for a holiday camp. However the outdoor pool was closed on one of the hottest weekends of the year and the indoor one was too warm, and the shower block was dirty every time I used it. With the amount of people using it during the day it needs to be cleaned constantly but definitely more than once a day.

Just came back from a 4 night stay only booked because we saw the good weather forecast not a bad site not everything was open as camp site was not full, its a nice walk along the the beach to Tenby or you can use a back road, entertainment was ok Mash & Barrel meals not to bad, we went to Manor Park Wildlife Park which I thought was a rip off hardly any animals to look at.
