Kirsty and her team run a great little hotel. The rooms are really well set up - tea making facilities, hooks to hang things up, and room for toiletries in the bathroom. They have parking and do their best to accommodate everyone's cars without a fuss. They even allow small dogs! Breakfast was good and the verandah out the back is lovely. All the staff are very friendly and obliging too!

Wedding event at The Tunnels was wondeful. Planned by the couple and family but the service by helpful staff was exellent. A great venue.
We stayed at the Harcourt Hotel and from the warm welcome when arriving, the rooms, food, and the amazing Kirsty who did everything she could, made our short stay first class.
Parking in Ilfracombe is difficult to say the least, but not when Kirsty is around she makes sure that everyone finds a place at the hotel -- great.

We (my husband, 24-year-old daughter, and I) arrived in Ilfracombe on a rainy day with no plans or reservations, and we feel so fortunate to have found our way to the Harcourt! It is modest and undistinguished from the outside, and you walk into a plain entry with a narrow flight of stairs, but don't let that first glimpse dissuade you. Our rooms were clean and well-appointed, with free Wi Fi, a great hot shower, a lovely view of the coast, and a very comfortable bed complete with a wrapped chocolate on each pillow. The proprietor was incredibly thoughtful and welcoming -- she even went outside in the rain and moved some cars so we could park more easily -- and morning breakfast was excellent. Staff was kind and friendly, and overall, I will remember this as one of the most pleasant stays in our English sojourn.

Very accommodting with excellent staff. All very polite and the service was second to none.

Nothing seemed too much trouble for any of their guests and the hotel offers great value for money and caters for every need.

This hotels really deserves to to do well and the breakfast was super. very good quality as well as quantity.

I would not hesitate to stay again next time I am in the area or to recommend to any of my friends and family.

This is a hidden treasure.
