What a find! This was the perfect place for a break. The room was comfortable, warm and above all blissfully quiet. And it had a fantastic view of the sea from the bed. The location was brilliant...easy walk to town or the coastal path just out the back. But above all it was Adam's friendly, welcoming and helpful attitude that was outstanding and makes Norbury House rise above other similar accommodation. At our request, he helped us plan our day, and advised on excellent restaurants and pubs for lunch and dinner. He was never intrusive and equally he never made us feel that we were intruding on his space. And...as other reviewers have mentioned...he was ably supported in this by the wonderful Bovril, probably the best behaved labrador we have ever met!

Our bedroom was spacious and comfortable, although the shower room was a little cramped. The breakfast was excellent and Adam was welcoming and helpful. Norbury House is not luxurious, but it has everything you could reasonably want for a pleasant stay. Their web site allowed us to see exactly what we were getting and to choose the room we liked best.

Brilliant stay in a gorgeous location. Easy access to coastal path from back garden or a short walk into town and sea front. Plenty of restaurants, bars and shops to explore nearby or simply retire to Norbury House to relax in the stylish lounge or beautifully decorated, comfortable room. Adam and Paula were extremely welcoming and provided a lovely breakfast! Not to forget Bovril the dog who was very well behaved and was very friendly.

What a fantastic stay! Paula and Adam are warm, welcoming but in no way intrusive or over the top. Their genuine hospitality made for a truly comfortable stay- and the breakfast was the BEST we have had in a very long time.
Just brilliant!!
