My partner and I stayed here and were extremely disappointed - to the point where we tried to find somewhere else to stay that night. The room was basic but functional however it wasn't very clean and smelled strongly.
The rest of the house was worse, with a constant, overpowering smell. The owner was not particularly helpful either and seemed perplexed when we made a simple request for an extra bed cover.
We stayed only the one night and spent as little time in there as possible. We didn't bother with breakfast as the cleanliness of the establishment left so little to be desired.
Would strongly recommend people to look elsewhere.

I enjoyed my stay at this dog-friendly hotel. The owner was very pleasant and accommodating, and our room was clean and bright. The bed was comfortable, and the en-suite was a good size. We were on the top floor, fine if you are fit, but would recommend a lower floor if you have trouble with stairs! Breakfast was pretty good, given the reasonable room rate. Off-street parking was good. Would recommend, as long as you like dogs!

I found st. brannocks hotel to be really dog friendly, excellent food, and a warm welcome from the owner, the room was fresh and clean & comfortable, I will certainly visit again.
