Attitude and service of owners was extremely disappointing. Rooms are adequate but overpriced. Food was fine but nothing special. Owners nickle and dime customers with lots of hidden fees (extra charges for paying by credit card, extra charges for children, etc).
Overall, the owners bad attitude towards their guests left a bad taste in our mouths and we would never stay there again or recommend it to anyone else. We stayed at many other B&B's in Scotland, and this was our only bad experience.

This Guest booked a room via the internet and on arrival was shown to this room, after thirty minutes the guest said that he felt claustrophobic in the room. The room measures 13x12 feet (3.7m x 4m) and has two windows, he was however upgraded to a larger room at no extra cost, we then had to change the bedding and clean two rooms. When the guest was leaving they were asked, as all our guest are if every thing had been satisfactory and the stated that it had.
Our web site states that we make a charge for using credit cards, there is also a notice to this effect in our porch, because the guest said that he had not seen this on our web site he was not charged even though he said he had seen the one in the porch.
I don't believe we could have treated this guest any better or fairer.

This Lady booked three rooms for four day, left after two days because , Blairgowrie was not a holiday destination, air quality in Scotland was poor and the distance to Newcastle to catch Ferry home to Germany was further than she thought.
