“A little corner of Perthshire”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 May 2007

This was our second visit to this truly wonderful B & B and the welcome we received was like visiting old friends. The rooms are spacious, the views are breathtaking and the breakfasts are fantastic, with an overwhelming choice, Nothing is too much trouble for Pat and Don and their aim throughout your stay is to ensure you have everything you need. Your comfort is paramount and every whim attended to. Then there are the dinners in the evening, which I can only describe as being in an exclusive restaurant. You are made to feel special and if you wish to eat out Don will arrange a table for you in one of the local hostelries. Looking forward to our next visit.

“Wonderful setting and gracious hosts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 March 2007

Our stay with Pat and Don was one of the most enjoyable stops on our 3 week trip through Scotland. The accommodations were terrific with spacious rooms and a lovely garden and its location was peaceful yet an easy drive to all of central Scotland 's attractions. The delicious breakfasts and prearranged dinners were made more so by Pat's easy acceptance of my food allergy and the care with which she included it in her meal preparations. We found the stay so enjoyable that we extended it for an extra night. I would certainly spend a longer time there on a future trip.

“A Truly Devine B&B Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2007

We have seldom found a 'sure thing' in our travel experiences. Drumellie Meadow B & B is an exception, and will not disappoint. This comfortable, modern home, set in extensive gardens, well away from towns and busy traffic, has its own pond rimmed with native plants and grasses - the perfect place for quiet contemplation or a leisurely stroll after one of Pat's gourmet breakfasts.

Well situated in the heart of Scotland, Drumellie Meadow is within an hour's drive of numerous points of interest in central Scotland and the eastern highlands. Our hosts Pat and Don Devine, native Scots, are well-versed in the history and lore of this part of Scotland, recommending many places to go and things to see.

We stayed for several nights, becoming familiar with our hosts and this lovely area of Scotland. After busy days of exploring castles, museums, manor houses, Wildlife Sanctuaries and gift shops, we came home to the comfort of the spacious living room with its incomparable views over the garden. After our daily excursions, we enjoyed congenial conversations with our hosts over a pot of tea with shortbread -- Pat and Don have a gift for making travel-weary strangers feel at home.

Drumeille Meadow's bedrooms are tastefully appointed and comfortable. If you sleep anywhere, you will sleep here, with nothing to disturb your rest but the sleepy chirping of the birds, or perhaps the thought of another delicious breakfast from an expansive menu to look forward to. There are also several good restaurants in the immediate area, for dining out.

If you are interested in value for money, Drumellie Meadow B & B will leave you with a favorable and lasting impression. We plan to return. You will too.

“five star breakfast at Drumellie Meadow”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2007

We enjoyed real hospitality at Drumellie Meadow, clean comfortable and tasteful rooms, beautiful gardens and a lovely lounge were all at our disposal. But, by far the greatest treat was the huge and tempting menu for breakfast !!! My husband and I both ordered the smoked haddock with poached egg in cream sauce, neither of us left a drop on our plates !!! Our daughters had the smoked salmon and also cleaned their plates ! It was without doubt the finest breakfast in Scotland !
Add to that the excellent dinner at a local Inn, arranged for us by our hosts, and we could not have wished for a thing.

“Not your average B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2007

This beautiful, modern home in a park like setting is the perfect tranquil place to stay. The rooms are beautifully decorated and quiet. It is like going to visit friends. Don and Pat, the hosts are so friendly and accommodating to all requests and services. They go beyond being hosts but treat you as friends who are staying in their home. They have great suggestions for sightseeing know the area very well. We stayed there for 4 nights and took day trips in to Edinburgh, over to Aberdeen and around Perthshire. It was at the end of our 3 week vacation in Scotland and we felt we had saved the best for last. And oh, the breakfasts!! A gourmet's delight eating eggs benedict, and other treats in the formal dining room. Don't miss this place. You won't be disappointed.
