One of the loveliest rooms we have stayed in, the house is splendid! Loraine is a kind and welcoming host. Breakfasts were superb, with kedgeree sometimes on offer. We spent two nights here and are eager to return.

We toured Scotland, booking each night's accommodation as we came to the nearest town, using the superlative service of VisitScotland tourist offices. They came up with this excellent address, which we'd never have found for ourselves (although it is mentioned in the Rough Guide to Scotland, we found later). Essentially you stay as a guest in a private house -- but what a house! Unimpressive from the outside, inside it is total luxury -- spacious, beautifully decorated and supremely comfortable. I have never slept in a larger bedroom!
We had a wonderful welcome from Malcolm and Lorraine, and a delicious breakfast.
We'll definitely be back!

Stayed here for two nights on 18/19th May 2007. Don't be put off by the exerior of the house. You are met with a very warm welcome and the comfort of the house is enhanced by the character and decor. Owners very pleasant and more than helpful. Would certainly stay again.

Stayed here in May 2007 for one night. The property is somewhat imposing on initial impression from the exterior. However as soon as you are welcomed through the door, that all changes. The decor is wonderful - very contemporary. Rooms are well equipped - nice powerful shower, Freeview, and even fresh milk for the tea/coffee facilities. The bed was huge complete with stylish throw and cushions.

The owners were both very nice and made you feel at home.

Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of buffet items and cooked options. Great to have proper coffee in the morning - which for UK B&B's is not at all common!

The location is also great - a short 10 minute stroll into the town centre. Ideally placed for the nearby golf course as well.

Would highly recommend this property.
