I just want to say that they were fantastic hosts. The room was spotless, breakfast was excellent and we are very much looking forward to coming back again soon.

After reviewing 45 incredible reviews for this B & B I was sceptical. After a 2 day stay with Eileen and Oliver I felt I had to write and agree with all the previous comments. Luxurious accommodation, beautiful scenery, great hosts, and the food ,fantastic, all home made from local produce,ask for Eileens award winning white chocolate cheesecake if you get a chance. We had dinner at Gleneagles Hotel one of the nights, not a patch on West Freuchies fare! Go there , you wont believe it either. Why is this B&B only 4 stars?Sandra and Brian

We spent 2 days with Oliver and Eileen, during our walk on the Cateran Trail. It was a lovely stay. Eileen and Oliver are great hosts and we felt very welcome. The room was spacious, and the bed also (very comfortable when you are 6,5 feet tall). And what was the best thing of all: the food. Eileen is a really great cook, who makes fine breakfasts, price-winning cakes and superb evening-meals. Don't hesitate - just go!

My wife and myself have just spent two nights at West Freuchies as were walking the Cateran Trail. This is indeed a very exceptional place to stay. The hosts make you feel very much at home. The rooms were of the highest standard with plenty of space. We enjoyed immensely the wonderful food cooked by Eileen. I would rate West Freuchies as one of the best places we have ever stayed in.
