This charming guest house is situated about 5 minutes walk from the main street and the beach, and about 10 minutes walk from the train station in Sandown, and so is ideal for those reliant on public transport.
The hotel is run on a B&B basis by Ann and her husband Futoshi who does all the cooking, and very nice the full English breakfast is too. If you're so inclined, Ann offers dance instruction - not for me with my two left feet I'm afraid!
The rooms are clean, comfortable and well maintained, and unlike some B&B's the bathroom in the room we stayed in is a decent size.
Ann is a friendly and helpful hostess, and we would definintely return there on our next island visit.
My only very minor gripe is that there is a low lintel leading into Room 1, which has a "Mind Your Head" sign on entrance, but not on exit, as I found when I cracked my nut when leaving the room for the first time! I would suggest a similar warning sign on exit so that those of us over 6 foot tall do not have a sore head on the first morning.

Ann and Futoshi give you a really warm welcome the minute you arrive. They make you feel so special. We stayed in the attic room which is very cosy and relaxing. Ann will attend to your every need with a lovely smile. Breakfast cooked by Futoshi is really something to look forward to. He really creates a work of art on a plate! They really want you to be part of their home which they share with their family and their pets. A great place to stay on your own, as a couple and a family. We will certainly return!

Stayed here with a party of School children. Made very welcome. Children happy. Very clean and food very good.
Ideal position-10 minute walk to the beach & pier, with bus stop right outside. Up hill walk coming back.

A great place to stay and good value for money.. Made us totally feel at home.. Brilliant brakefast and walking distance to the beach and restaurents.. children had their own bunk beds in the room and they had their toys too...
