wonderful hosts perfect location and the most gorgeous eggs benedict for breakfast. very comfortable spotless room. in douglas on business and will def. request further stays here. excellent value for money.

We have just returned home from the Isle of man, having stayed 3 nights in the Devonian B&B, We each had a single room with Ensuite.
The Guest House was spotless, & the breakfast was fantastic. The service was second to none & I would highly recommend it.

just returned from a long weekend at the Devonian, our flight arrived early Saturday and I had informed the hotel of this. When we arrived at 09.30 we were told our room was ready to use immediately and taken straight up. We found the room clean and tidy and it had everything as advertised inc perfectly working free WIFI (sad but it just helps), bed was very comfortable and we both slept well.

Breakfast was very good and a nice selection was available and nice to be able to ask for more coffee and toast without getting the evil eye. We got some good tips off Gillian and got a walkthrough of how to best use the parking disc provided with the hire car.

Location is extremely good with the prom literally at the end of the road and the Strand shopping a short walk away.

Enjoyed it so much already trying to find dates for next year to go back and stay again.

I have been visiting the Isle of Man on and off since my parent's brought me across as a child when about 8years old. The Devonian has now joined the ranks of my favourite B&B in Douglas.I spent 4 days there from 3rd - 7th November 2011,and was impressed by the cleanliness,decor and friendliness of mine hosts Kevin & Gillian.The Devonian benefits from being in a central location close to all amenities. The breakfasts live up to everyone's recommendations on their reviews,the full english and poached eggs on toast come up to the standards of other 4 star hotels i stay at in the UK. If you are planning a visit to the Isle of Man,you will not be dissapointed if you choose to stay at the Devonian,i hope to be back again sometime in the future,and i forgot to mention,the sun was shining (in November too) which was a nice bonus.
