“A pleasant b&b within 5 minutes of the seafront”

The owners were very helpful and knowledgeable with recommendations what to see and do on the island. The small but friendly b&b is located near the Broadway area,behind the Villa Marina and Gaiety Theatre. Within 5 minutes you were on the seafront,although it is a bit of a hillwalk back up. There is a bus stop outside and is served during the day. For the main regular bus services you need to go down to the seafront where they will take you to the bus and rail stations for connections for the rest of the island.

The town centre shops and the Manx museum are also walkable between 5 to 10 minutes from The Strathmore. There is a pizza place,other eateries, a small convenience store,post office and a barbers within a 2 to 5 minute walk.

Breakfast is superb with a choice of cereals,followed by a lovely cooked Ulster breakfast. The en-suite room was adequate with own shower,tea,coffee,kettle,heater and tv.

At a reasonable price between £ 25.00 to £ 30.00 a night made it a delightful stay.

“Friendly family-run guest house - great value for money”

I spent a very pleasant weekend on the Isle of Man staying at this guest house. At this price you might expect cleanliness, location or food to be compromised but this is absolutely not the case. The room I stayed in was clean, it is a very short stroll down to the sea front and the breakfast is just superb. The owners are friendly and helpful too. I'm definitely coming back

went to the tt 09. stayed here for 1 week. kev and tracey fantastic and welcoming people tat there hotel. very friendly and could not do enough for us while we were there.Kev took us to see the purple helmets which he didnt have to thanks kev.rooms clean and tidy and cleaned everyday,breakfast was great too. will definately stay again if they will have me lol............dennis
