We stayed 2 nights at Hazelbrae a couple of weeks ago. It has been our best B&B discovery this year (and we have stayed at quite a few!). Jerry and Deborah are extremely welcoming, hospitable and nice people. The B&B iis about 10 min walk to the seaside/town, and within easy walking distance to the Botanic Garden. It is nicely furnished and decorated, and our room had an amazing sea view. The breakfast was fantastic, a choice between continental and full English, plus a fruit salad as a starter, all very fresh and in huge amounts. A lot of fresh fruit at breakfast, coming from Jerry and Deborah's allotment, plus organic jams (we bought several for home). It was also a very peaceful location which we both appreciated. All in all, an amazing place, and we will definitely visit again next year!

we stayed a week with Deb and Jerry and had a lovely week the room and view was incredible the breakfast out of this world Deb and Jerry can not do enough for you and are the perfect host and hostess.


ventnor is a lovely town and has lots to offer and if you need any advice on where to go and see and eat they will point you in the right direction a perfect b and b and couple ten out of ten many thanks for a great stay jane roerts and ian wiltshire

I stayed at Hazelbrae with my boyfriend this weekend and felt we really had to right a review to comment on how fantastic the whole experience at Hazelbrae was. From the helpful and friendly emails before arriving (tips on where to eat, what to do etc), the warm welcoming, the fantastic sea-views and room, to the delicious and generously portioned breakfasts.

Being unable to eat wheat or gluten, a bonus of the fab stay was Deb arranging for homemade gluten-free bread to be made for me, and even got in gluten-free sausages. It really made a difference and a lovely change to being told that I'd be 'welcome to bring my own bread!'

Deb and Jerry have a fantastic property, in a great central spot in Ventnor. Go here, you won't be disappointed! We'll definitely be back and will be making sure our friends and family do too!

Fantastically restored property run by welcoming couple. Immaculate rooms and comfy beds with 100% Egyptian cotton (no less) sheets. The breakfasts are bound to blow you away, which are fantastic for veggies or meat-eaters.
