We went to Shanklin during the hot weekend in October this year. We chose this B&B due to the location - it certainly wasn't a let down, it was a short walk to the beach and just a stones throw from the centre of Shanklin. On arrival we were offered a cup of tea and chocolate fudge cake even though we arrived a little late! Lovely! The room was very clean and full of character and was great for our short break. If stopping for longer we would prefer a bigger room but as I say it was great for a weekend. The breakfast was lovely, the service first class, friendly and attentive and I even saw a red squirrel in the garden! Highly recommended!

My husband and I decided to stay at the Bedford because it looked a nice place, it was'nt, it was lovely! From the owner, to the night staff, to the people who help at meals, everyone was friendly , helpful and made our stay a most enjoyable one.We celebrated our anniversary whist there and had agreat time.They even got the red squirrels to show themselves whilst we had breakfast! The room we had was lovely, the bed very comfy, the bathroom clean and well appointed and it's only a couple of steps to some excellent places to eat.

This has the perfect setting and makes for a great stay. good breakfasts, good rooms and service with a smile.
