This hotel is in the ideal position, it couldn't be closer to the sea. The restaurant is very spacious and clean with good food and service. The whole experience at the Aqua was very pleasant and very friendly. The rooms are quite adequate for a holiday stay and are always kept very clean. We will be going back again next year for our fourth visit.

Stayed for 5 nights in a family room overlooking the waterwhich was lovely. Hotel advertised wifi but the only connection was found standing in the corridor outside the gents toilets!!
Hotel comfortable and clean.
Meals very well presented but limited in my dietary requirements (dairy free) . Met with the chef who said she could adapt the menu, this happened once. Got tired of fruit cocktail every day!
Little annoyed that meal choice had to be made for that days evening meal during breakfast and Ihad to attend between 18:30-19:30.
Entertainment on the first night was faultless and enjoyed by all, however, this peaked too soon.
The rest of the entertainment was
mediocre and if you like it old fashioned you will not be disappointed.
Hotel looked tired and in need of updating. All this said we had a restful few days and was able to explore the island which is stunning in parts with quaint cottages and old buildings. Would go back to the island again but would look for self catering.

From the outside the hotel looked bright and welcoming. The staff are very helpful, polite and eager to help.
We had a room with a sea view with a door opening out onto a balcony. The room itself was small but was brightly decorated with an on suit toilet shower room, the room and on suit were clean to a high standard.
The bar area was again bright and airy with large windows over looking the esplanade onto the beach and out to sea.
The breakfast was of good standard darting with cereal followed by a choice of 5 cooked meals.
Overall my wife and I had a lovely stay at the Aqua hotel we found the price to be a little high for the size of the room. However we will go back for another stay in the near future.

We came accross The Aqua Hotel after the accomodation that we had booked for our stay proved to be unsuitable.
Sometimes these things turn out for the best.
From the time we phoned to enquire about availability to the time we checked out, every thing about this place was superb.
The ownwers could not have been more helpful and made our stay an absolute pleasure. Should we ever visit the IOW again we will definitely be staying at the Aqua.
