Hotel and restaurant are excellent......could not fault the service....rooms very comfortable and well equiped....food first class.....staff cheerful and very helpful....we will be back very soon

We stayed at the mountain park on the 17th and 18th of October we were combining vising family with a weekend away. We decided to upgrade our rooms. the televisions did not work for the 3 days. The heating could not be turned off. the controls fell off the shower. the dispoible beakers in the bathroom were rinsed out and re-used.

after complaining at reception on the first night nothing was done to resolve the situation throughout our stay and we were told it was beyond their control and that there was not-one on duty that could help us. We think the name should be changed from Mountain Park to Fawlty Toweres.

I arrived at the hotel with my girlfriend, the staff where friendly and helpfully from the second we entered, the booking in was hassle free, everything was done at a pace to suit ourselves, the room was clean tidy and well laid out. We had a meal in the restaurant, the food was excellent, the staff where polite, kind and efficient, after the meal we entered the bar for a drink, the bar manager was helpful courteous, and a very good humored person.
I will go again and would recommend it highly, I have stayed in a lot of hotels 4* 5* this 3* star establishment is preferable to many of the other higher rated places I have staid at, well done everyone

I stayed in the family room with my Mum and 3 children and it was lovely.
I have 6 month old twin girls and a 3 year old son and the staff could not do enough for us.
We had a take away from the thai restaurant (on site) brought to our room and was a very reasonable price too.
The room was lovely and spacious even with the 2 travel cots at the foot of each bed (which the hotel provided) saved loads of room in the car.
Very handy for the zoo and had a great time.
Even has Sky HD in the rooms. Fab.
