Booked a twin and a single room for two nights in late November - just as the snow hit.
Had a fantastic stay - We all agreed it was probably the most comfortable bed any of us have ever slept in! - all crisp clean thick white sheets and blankets - lovely.
The rooms were great - the house was great! Like something out of World Of Interiors magazine. Bit of a Georgian architectural gem. Not corporate at all - you'd never get this attention to detail in an hotel.
Fantastic complimentaries - teas/coffee bathroom stuff. Breakfast was just great you could have what ever you wanted cooked and the fresh fruit compotes, yogurts - local apple bread/cake thing just devine.
Victoria Brann is a star! Great cook, welcoming and was really helpful in directing us to where we needed to get to safely with the arrival of the snow.
It was a really fantastic place and we would all recomend it for whatever reason your going to this part of the world.
We were visiting family in Newtownards and took a trip upthe coast road to the Giants Causeway and on the other day we drove around Stranford Lough
It's all on one level which was helpful as we were with someone on a stick.
