“A bit of luxury every girl should experience!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

I recently stayed the Culloden hotel as part of a xmas/birthday treat from family and my experience was AMAZING!!!!

Afternoon tea was superb, dinner in the Mitre restaurant was out of this world and the Spa Treatments were the best I have ever experienced in my life!!

Staff were excellent and couldnt have done anymore for me throughout my stay.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a break away with that added bit of luxury.... well worth the money!!!

Room Tip: For a spa escape package for £170 included overnight accomodation with breakfast, spa treatment and...

“The Culloden”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

I would like to express my gratitude to the manager of the espa Lucia McCallion and the therapist Katherine Best for a first class wonderful experience that I will never forget. The facilities were suberb and the therapists meticulous attention to detail was of a very high standard, all the staff were friendly at the Culloden. I am walking away after the weekend feeling rejuvenated and relaxed I would not hesitate to recommend the Culloden and in particular the espa. Every woman should experience a V.I.P treatment of this standard. The hotel is of excellent standard with great service and top quaility. To sum it up in one word serenity! Looking forward to the next time. Ursula Roddy

We stayed in the Culloden last Sept. 2011, for my birthday - it was a treat from my partner and we had a wonderful stay. We got upgraded to a suite which was fabulous, the staff could not have been any friendlier and the food was excellent both for dinner and breakfast - we couldn't fault it in any way and the grounds are just stunning overlooking The Lough in Belfast. Definitely would recommend and would like to stay again and maybe use the Spa facilities the next time.

My partner and I decided to choose the Mitre restaurant for a special anniversary dinner ,and our choice was first class. The evening was pure luxury from the second we arrived and were shown to a fire lit lounge. Our table in the restaurant was beside the window and I would recomend a reservation as it was very romantic with stunning views over the lough. My partner had asked the staff to leave flowers for me at the table ,which they did, and also were very attentive to our every wish during the evening. We sent our compliments to the chef for the best meal we have experienced ,the presentation was exquisite and the flavours divine.Thank-you for making a special evening totally wonderful for us both.

“Cannot recommend this hotel and spa highly enough!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

I stayed at the Culloden last week and I am still in awe of the service that we received.

Having stayed in 5 star resorts around the world, the Culloden comes second to none. As we had spa treatments booked before we checked into the hotel, the friendly spa reception team kindly held onto our luggage for us. We were shown around the facilities by the spa manager and had a glorious swim and a steam before we went through for our treatments. The pre-treatment relaxation room was lovely and warm and water was provided. Our therapists came to greet us from here and took us through to our separate treatment rooms. The rooms were nice and warm and lit with candles and my therapist gave me a thorough consultation before beginning my treatment. I'm sure that I was one of many clients that my therapist had to see that day but I really felt like I was the only person that mattered in the world and she gave me the best treatment I have ever had!! (And I have had a lot!!) After 2 hours of bliss I was shown through to the post treatment relaxation room which was dimly lit and once I was covered with a blanket and offered refreshments she left me to relax. I'm sure I fell asleep!!!

We then had lunch in the Zest bar and felt like queens as the waitress went above and beyond duty and went and got us cake and ice cream from the hotel (as their healthy spa menu didn't offer gooey fatty chocolate cake)

The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. It was also nice to see the spa manager helping with clients and clearing plates.

When we finally left the spa we were shown to the hotel and the friendly reception team checked us in. They gave us suggestions for dinner and recommended a few shops for us to visit the following day in Belfast.

We went to our room (which was gorgeous!!) It had a huge bed and was lovely and clean and warm. The fudge at turn down was also a nice touch.

Dinner in the Cultra Inn was amazing - the staff again were very friendly and more than helpful.

After a very peaceful sleep, we went to breakfast the next morning and it was like a banquet!! We were shown to a lovely table and our waiter was very attentive - always making sure that I had enough tea!

We reluctantly packed our bags and checked out. I must say that I had an amazing time whilst staying in the Culloden and would highly recommend this hotel and especially the spa to everyone. The staff were excellent - they had offered me things before I had even thought to ask for them, and they were all very friendly!!

I will definitely be staying here again soon!!!
