Rod & Dianne and their Mum & Dad made us feel very welcome.We had room 6 which was lovely and large with plenty of space to relax.The bed was very comfortable ,the decor was tasteful and the en-suite shower room was very neat.The breakfast was exceptional with plenty of choice and was served in a bright well lit dining room.Although we did not make use of it there was also a well stocked bar and an unusually spacious lounge in which to relax.It is very convenient for walking in to town and avoiding the car parking fees.All in all a very pleasant place to stay

We stayed 3 nights here and although the room was very clean it was very small with only a small window being in the roof. The bed was double (many other reviewers comment on the king-size beds so don't know what happened to us!) and it was not a good mattress. I can usually sleep anywhere so it didn't trouble me too much but I do think we were short-changed a bit. With hindsight we could perhaps have asked for another room as we were shown the room before we signed in but not wishing to be awkward we decided to accept it. Perhaps there is a higher charge for a larger room I don't know.

Just returned from a very enjoyable stay at this B & B in Paignton. We booked it fairly last minute through LateRooms.com. Our room was light & airy with a very comfortable King Size bed. Our hosts and their extended family were very welcoming and throughout our stay were a mine of information about the local area, restaurants. etc. etc. The breakfasts each morning were delicious with locally sourced bacon, sausage and free range eggs. The home-made marmalade was a lovely touch. If you can't face the full English, there is a very good selection of lighter alternatives. We would definitely consider staying here again if we return to this area and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
