we stayed at this hotel for four days. the location was excellent althougha little confusing on your way in. the hotel is quite hidden and not very visible fromt he main road into paignton.
on arrival we were greeted by the owners and they were extremely friendly. they took breakfast orders for the next morning and then showe dus to our room.
our room was clean but the bathroom was small and only had a shower. i am disabled and it just wasn't big enough for me. if you have limited mobility their ground floor rooms are adequate but if you are in a wheelchair you will find this hotel difficult to manage.
although they do try their best to accomodate youa nd ntohing is too much trouble.
the rooms have tv with just 1,2,3,and 4 on no sky.
the breakfast wa slovely you have to put your order in by six the previous night or you get the same each day. the fried breakfast was bacon, sausage, hash brown, egg and tomato and beans. lots of toast, tea, orange juice, cereal. they also did a selction on breakfast like beans on toast and scarmbled egg.
it is ideally placed for the zoo which is about a mile althgouh not walkable. the steam railway is about a five minute walk as is the town and attractions of paignton. a cinema is about 100 yards and newsagents too. the beach is the same distance.
all in all we would stay here again as the hosts were lovely and nothing was too much trouble.
