Thankfully we saw this place by accident. Started off on the wrong foot by asking the owner if it was ok to park in his yard before asking for a room. Once we were inside we knew we had found the perfect place...the location, the decor, the room. The room was something from a 5 star hotel and absolutely spotless. Breakfast was great, tasted really fresh, we would both return in a heart beat.

Exceptional B&B, only found it by chance. Stayed in a superior room which was excellent, marvelous service, easily the best B&B I have stayed in. Ignore the photo of the garages Tripadvisor have unfairly used for the main picture this is not a true reflection of the main views from the hotel which were great. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We have just enjoyed a fabulous 3 night break at the Beechwood.Ideally situated for the town centre and Lake,this B&B is by far the best we have ever stayed in!! Greeted by Rita on our arrival,we were instantly made to feel at home.Our Superior Room was beautiful and immaculalately clean.Breakfast was delicious,with plenty of choice-but would definately recommend the 'Full English'.Loved the Sitting Room,which was a delight to sit in.The owner's here,are so friendly and incredibly helpful.'Thanks' for making our stay so special Rita.I would definately recommend this B&B-we are ALREADY planning our next stay!!!

A lovely hotel with a warm wlecome, very clean and comfortable, great breakfast. Rita & Owen are excellent hosts. A ten minute walk brings you to the shore of lake windermere.
