We stayed 4 nights on a trip to Alton Towers. The pool was good, the breakfasts were great, the room was fine. The only downside was the one dinner we had at the hotel was not good at all - not sure if the chef was off that night but none of us enjoyed our dinner. I had the salmon linguine special which was a pile of spaghetti covered in the sweet chilli sauce you normally get with prawn cracker takeaways, a couple of leaves of spinach and a dry piece of salmon on top. I'm not the best cook out there but I could cook a lot better than what I ate for dinner.
