Stayed in Weymouth to be near ferry to Jersey the following morning and read good reviews about the Chandlers boutique hotel. Although the price was high at £ 127 for a double room.
On arrival payment was taken by credit card before we saw the room which turned out to be a small attic room with a glass dormer window. The temperature of the room must have been in the nineties with only a small window for ventilation. The ensuite was poor quality.
The night had to be endured and certainly was not enjoyed. We needed to be at the ferry for 8am and breakfast was served from 7:30 giving little time to enjoy the breakfast. No effort was made to start breakfast earlier and it was after 7:30 before the dining room was unlocked to allow entry. The breakfast was not a full English but a choice of 2 items and when we saw the choices couldn't believe it. Needless to say don't stay there.
