We booked a last minute break and spent three nights at Weymouth Sands in June 2012. Diane made us very welcome, suggesting places to eat. We stayed in the deluxe double room with sea view. It was very pleasant to sit in the window and watch the world go by! The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and Diane went out of her way to get black pudding for my husband when he mentioned that he liked it.
Although we had a permit we were concerned about parking as visitors can pay and display in the same spaces for up to 4 hours. I can honestly say that we didn't have any problems, but it could well be a different story during the main summer months.
Just be aware that the layout of roads leading into Weymouth have changed and your sat nav or map might not be up to date.
We had an enjoyable stay and would recommend Weymouth Sands.
