“Cozy cottage but big too”

Just wanted tio say what a wonderfull time we had last weekend. The cottage is in a fantastic location and very remote (just what we wanted). The facilities are trully magnificent from the 3 large double/trebble bedrooms with hotel standard beds and bedding to the lounge with panoranic views and the magnificent wet room/bathroom. We had a real fire going all the time and a great experience all round. Hopefully we'll be back soon.

“stunning location”

This is a really individual, beautifully restored property. It really is right on the golf course, just behind the 12th tee( great course and friendly club). The view from the lounge is amazing and the large windows make it seem almost panoramic. Appleby itself is a lovely little town with about six pubs! Plenty of places to eat, we enjoyed the Royal Oak (quite pricey) and had a fabulous steak at the New Inn in Brampton a short drive away. It also turns out that the Lake District is close- we got to Ullswater in about 40mins. Nice to see a place that caters for the less physically able- the main bathroom has been cleverly done to act as a wet room with access whilst still being a great bathroom in itself. Water pressure is good so the showers are powerful!
