My third visit to stay the night at Jackie and David's whilst exploring the area and have never come across a better bed and breakfast. Jackie and David always welcome you warmly after a tiring journey and treat you as old friends - their hospitality is second to none. Luxury facilities and excellent value with a personalised service. A tasty and hearty breakfast with home made bread and jam sets you up for a day in the great outdoors! Don't tell too many people about this true find though as it will be booked up when I come back next summer!

From the very warm welcome (despite the fact the traffic made us very late!) to the helpful departure (including taking group picures of us in our wedding finery and checking the traffic conditions for our route to the church) nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, including the lovely home made preserves. David and Jackie did everything possible to ensure that our stay was perfect. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

This is an outstanding B & B. Jackie and David welcome guests warmly to their beautifully presented, immaculate home. Our spacious room had a very comfortable bed. Breakfasts were delicious. We stayed at Bank End House for three nights and throughout Jackie and David could not have done more to ensure we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
