We got married at Yeoldon on the 3rd December 2011 and can't praise the service we received enough. The day exceeded all our wildest expectations.

Jennifer, Brian, and all their staff were unbelievably attentive to all our needs and genuinely wanted to do everything they could to make sure our day was special. Nothing was too much trouble for them from the moment we first met through to the day we checked out - Brian even put on the most amazing firework display during the evening. It was such a refreshing change from the type of service you tend to receive at other hotels.

In addition to the quality of service the hotel is beautiful, a real country retreat in breathtaking grounds. Inside the hotel, the rooms are immaculate with great views and incredible attention to detail.

Last but definitely not least, the food is out of this world. All of our guests commented on how good the wedding breakfast, evening buffet, and morning breakfast was.

Thank you Jennifer, Brian, Margaret, Colin and anybody else we've forgotten for making our day perfect. We hope to stay in touch.

My partner and i Attended our friends wedding at Yeoldon house and it was just a wonderful day made special by Jennifer, Brian and Margaret who were just so very helpful and welcoming in every way. The food was super the accomadation was lovely, comfortable and relaxing located in a beautiful setting. Thanks to everyone who made our stay so memorable.

Our third visit to Yeoldon House; almost a repeat of our visit last year, with the same friends, for a two night stay.Excellent food, service and above all a friendly welcome and ambience. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff, and we will all surely return for more of the same hospitality.

This was my second stay at Yeoldon, I have relatives in the area, the second stay of many I hope. 

Everything about this hotel I love, it's located at the end of a country lane overlooking landscaped gardens and an estuary providing seclusion and fantastic scenary. The hotel it's self is alive with charecter and charm, it is at the same time tasteful I should add.

Each of the two rooms I've frequented have been superb, both entirely different in style and appearance but equal in comfort and quality. 

Unfortunately I was only able to eat breakfast in the restaurant but it was a very good breakfast indeed. I have every intention of returning to Yeoldon shortly after the new year to sample the dinner menu, and to visit my relatives of course..

Personally the highlight of my stay this time around, and you must I understand I enjoy the simple things in life, was having the opportunity to sit on a very comfy sofa beside an open fire and drink tea, great it was! 

Perhaps there is one thing I should warn you about if you are intending to visit Yeoldon and enjoy an evening stroll, bring a torch! The contry lane leading to the hotel like many others in the local area is immersed in darkess after nightfall, no street lighting you see.. But even that has a positive consequence, the nightsky is something to be enjoyed, particular if you like me are from London.
