We stayed here in August 2011 for one night whilst on a cycling trip through Cornwall and Devon. After a long day cycling we received a warm welcome from the landlord who showed us the room and gave us plenty of tips on options for dinner that evening. He was a lovely chap and made us feel very welcome. The room was compact and clean and represented good value for money. The B&B was well located for the centre of town and was ideal for a short stay. It was also excellent value for money.

Stayed here for two nights and have no hesitation in recommending that you stay here as well! As the other reviewers have said it is immaculately clean with every conceivable 'home from home' touch, including fresh flowers from the garden. The breakfasts are superb and the location ideal. We would definitely stay here again and would like to take this opportunity to thank Ray and Lydia for their welcome and hospitality.

After a tough days cycling we received the most amazing welcome and felt thoroughly looked after from that moment until the moment we left. We'd opted for room with private (instead of en-suite) bathroom and it turned out to be a great option. Both the room and bathroom (down a mini flight of stairs with our own special key) were extremely attractive and well appointed. Great selection of hot drinks and as our bathroom was downstairs we even had our own bathrobes.
Brilliant atmosphere and food at breakfast. We didn't use the guest lounge (gorgeous Atlantic sunset to view instead), but were impressed there was a laptop available in there for guest use.
Great location - in town but very quiet so we slept really well.

We stayed for one night and having travelled around Cornwall and staying at various hotels and B&B's this was by far the best!
Our room was immaculate, with every need catered for- ie:tea, coffee, bottled water, biscuits, info pack on the b&b and local area listing resaurents etc.
The breakfast was superb with choice of full English or continental.
This B&b is listed as a 4 star but we would give it 5 stars!!
