We stayed the Reagan room for a couple of nights while down in Christchurch for a wedding.

The Reagan room was very small and compact with little else but a bed and two side tables. Their is an ensuite bathroom if you can call it that. The toilet didn't flush and the shower was pretty average at best.

The owners whilst not rude weren't very helpful in providing information such as where the breakfast was served and the fact the card payment machine was broken.

We had friends staying locally and feel there were definitely better value for money options available.

If anyone likes fish and chips, there is an excellent fish and chip shop called bertie's just down the road.

We stayed in the Reagan room and obviously have higher stanards than the other people leaving comments.
The room was very warm and with window open was one of the noisiest place we have ever stayed.
The toilet didnt flush and the shower was absoluletly dismal, the shower room is tiny so you cant dry yourself properly, the so called bath towels were smaller than our hand towels at home.
The breakfast was fine but the husband hardly showed his face and when he did it was more of a scowl.
This cost us £76 per night for three nights, my daughter her husband and mt granddaughter stayed a couple of hundred yards down the road at a very nice travel lodge for £40 per night.
NO CONTEST.

Above average decor, very clean, friendly staff - very good value for money. Not noisy even though on main road due to good double glazing.

we visited the white house 15/07/2011 for 3 nights, and what a great bed and breakfast, mine hosts were great, very friendly, we stayed in the regan room, very nice room, breakfast very very nice, (not swimming in grease like some places we have stayed) we will be going back again, be sure to try it, you will not be disappointed
