“GREAT PLACE TO STAY”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 November 2011

We enjoyed a 3 night stay here, and only wish we could have stayed even longer. The hosts couldnt have been more helpful or friendly.
The rooms are exremely comfortable with Flat screen Tv's, and you couldnt have asked for a better cooked breakfast. Try the homemade Museli. Youll go back for more!! I was even given a tub to take home.We will be back.

Room Tip: Great Fish and chips in town, next to the Also excellent Chinese.

“A Pleasant Surprise”

The Kinross Guest House was chosen for me by Rabbies Tours as part of my tour of the Highlands. When I arrived I was given a warm & friendly greeting by the proprietors Jane & Gary who happens to be an excellent cook. My room was on the second floor with its own bathroom & shower for a single. The room was immaculate with the special touches left for a "guest," not to mention my own Teddy Bear on the pillow. I have to say at 65 years old, it is about time somebody gave me a Teddy Bear. The breakfast offered all that you could ask for both in the table setting and in the quality of the food. A pleasant stay and a wonderful memory for sure.

“Wonderful third floor room and excellent, friendly hosts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 September 2011

We found this wonderful B&B by driving around Grantown on Spey, and we were very happy with our find, just a block from downtown. Welcoming and friendly host (Gary), great large room on the third floor with slanted ceilings and a bathroom in the hall just outside our door. I loved the window you could raise to let in air above the loo - a beautiful morning view!! A short walk down the street to a pub called Craigs; they serve "moo" pies with chips and beer. Fun and good. Breakfast the next morning featured homemade muesli with fruits and cream, stewed rhubarb, homemade bread with rhubarb jam - all made by Jane, the hostess - and this was besides the regular fare. A favorite rest stop for us!

Room Tip: Don't shy away from the shared bath on third floor - just shares with one room (and it was empty...

“Warm, Comfortable B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 August 2011

Jane made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. Our ground-floor bedroom was clean, large and comfortable, with everything we needed. The bathroom (ours exclusively) was a short walk down the hallway -- a mild inconvenience -- but it was very nice, with a large, deep bathtub, and bathrobes were provided. The lounge had free internet and lots of brochures about the area with information on walks and restaurants. My mother and I stayed in several B&Bs in our two week trip through Scotland, and we both agreed that the breakfast here was the best. It wasn't fancy, but the porridge was excellent and I absolutely loved Jane's homemade musli (a mixture of granola, yogurt, fruit) and she had a very generous selection of fresh fruits - berries, kiwi, melons, etc.

“Great place, great hosts.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 August 2011

Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was excellent (especially the fruit selection) and the owners had an enourmous range of local information available in the sitting room. Great base for touring Speyside.
