We came here twice in the past 2 weeks because of business my husband had to attend to in Great Yarmouth - we couldn't think of a much better place for the price we paid (£55/night on B&B basis): The staff is very friendly and tries to accommodate all of your wishes (whether it may be access to an ironing board or a quiet room to practice a presentation in). The full English breakfast(whether veggie or non-veggie) is very good with good coffee and fresh orange juice, but you also could opt to have just a simple boiled or poached egg. Every corner of the hotel is kept dust-free. There is a cosy bar to have very reasonable priced drinks at until 11pm. And if yo don't want to watch TV in your own room you can do so in a lounge with very a comfortable leather sofa and several leather wing chairs. Our room, not big but not too small either, was very clean with a good-sized plasma screen TV(with lots of channels), a small clean bathroom with shower and a comfortable bed - only prob was that we felt a bit hot at night (but it admittedly was quite hot during the day time - 25 degree centigrade being hot for England!:-). In general it was quiet with just a few cars passing every now and then.
Location: right at the seaside - just cross the road to walk along the beach for miles. it takes about 20min to walk to the nearby towncentre which is probably not particularly high standard from a shopping point of view, but it should be your thing if you enjoy spending some time playing low cost games of luck and bingo.
All in all a very pleasant stay at a lovely hotel for a really good price! OH, and there is free wifi high speed internet.
