Stayed in this B&B a while ago and would probably go back again but was checking their website and see from their breakfast details that they still find vegetarian breakfasts hard to deal with. In this day and age I don't see why they are "very hard to get hold of" particularly when there is a planet sized Tesco not far away and I have found that every store has at least three varieties.
When we last stayed here the staff were hospitable and the room was large and at the front. We had the best night's sleep in this bed - I'd like to know what make it was - and we have stayed frequently all over the world. The owners also made us a welcome recommendation to a great traditional italian with perfectly and amptly cooked food - although it is best to book if you can or you may find they overstretch themselves and struggle to serve you.
I found that breakfast times at No. 78 a little limiting and see they haven't changed (we stayed here a couple of years ago) and having given notice we waited ages (after other guest arrived) for breakfast to arrive in the morning - on the second morning they had run out of the sausages so we didn't bother. The sausages were also overcooked. I don't want to sound ungrateful but these are not the cheapest rooms and I can see they are trying to be a "boutique" hotel type of establishment - with a little more effort they could head in the right direction and all guests (not just veggies) would really appreciate the effort.
One final thing, given we had a nice room, it was a bit dissappointing that the water ran out of the shower enclosure and all over the floor . Sorry, but we don't want to spoil your carpets or the room but it was the poor design. I can see you've made improvements, judging by your website so I hope this is fixed.
