Remodelled to be like the TravelLodge or similar with one member of staff on duty 24 hours but no large reception and other paraphernalia. This same member of staff mans the bar - all of this keeps the price down. We chanced upon this place and the room we chose was with sea view. I has just been remodelled and everything was 100% better that our previous night at the Quorn Hotel in Skegness. Wifi, large clean room, good site, easy parking decent sized bedroom and good bed. Highly recommended. Would go there again.

Stayed for just one night in this hotel with my two young children, the family room was very clean and spacious, nice and quiet on our stay. All of the staff were very polite and helpful which makes such a difference. The breakfast menu had a wide choice and was cooked to perfection and the breakfast room was immaculately dressed with a modern touch.There is ample parking all around the hotel, which itself is situated directly overlooking the sea and a stone throw to all the attractions. A very nice stay and all at the hotel need to be commended well done.

We stayed at the Marine Lodge again from 16th - 19th August 2011. We stayed in room number 25, which was beautifully refurbished. The service was excellent as always, the new reception area looked fantastic! Breakfast was delicious with great quality and value as always. We couldn't fault a thing. Thank you Marine Lodge! See you again next year!

We stayed at Marine Lodge for 3 nights in Aug 2011. This is a lovely guest house, with clean, modern rooms, spacious en-suites, free car parking and sea views! The staff were very accomodating right from the word go, at the time of booking they explained everything, and even sent us a guide of what to do whilst we were in Great Yarmouth. On arrival the guy to checked us in was lovely, and we found staff at all times friendly and professional. It was explained to us from the time of booking onwards that breakfast was an additional cost, and for us this was ideal, as we dont eat much at breakfast, so we just paid for what we had rather than paying for full breakfasts and wasting them. The room had a lovely sea view, was very clean, and had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. We went to Great Yarmouth for a family trip and to visit friends, and found Great Yarmouth good, with good old fashioned family fun, whether it was on the clean fresh beach, or on the pleasure beach it has something for everyone! Theres a definate chance we will be back - Thanks very much
