We stayed just one night with a double and single bedroom. The staff were very helpful, the rooms were very clean and well looked after, lovely and warm and the breakfast was as good as any I've had anywhere else - fruit juices, cereals, full English breakfast and gallons of tea! Would most definitely stay there again - neither my father nor I walk well but the hotel was literally a couple of minutes from the front so we could both walk there. I booked over the internet using Trip Advisor reviews and must say my experience echoes all the good ones.

My girlfriend made the booking as a suprise for me, we arrived at the hotel to a man on reception who could speak very little english, we were given our room key for a room on the first floor. Everything looked nice till we got in the room, the bathroom looked as though it had not been cleaned for a month there was pubic hair in the shower, mould in the grout and to beat it all shower did not have any hot water. We asked about evening meal we were told they did not do them but on their website they advertised them so then we had to go out and start looking for somewhere to eat. And the last straw was when we came to get into bed the sheets were all creased as though they had been slept on and there were hairs all over and the room was very cold as the heating had not been on. This is one hotel we will definately not stay at again

It was by chance that we stayed at this hotel as we had not pre-booked, yet in future we will definitely book our family room here in advance. The staff were friendly and professional, went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay, and welcomed our feedback. The rooms were immaculate, the shower powerful, and breakfast delicious. Having stayed in several hotels in Great Yarmouth over the years we think we have now found the best. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

We decided to take a last minute trip and stumbled across The Waverley, we have been so impressed with this hotel that we have decided it will be the place we stay whenever we take a trip back to Yarmouth. The staff went above and beyond to help us and made are stay a pleasant experience and even made our 18 month old boy feel welcome. The rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable and the breakfast was great too. Jo, Dave and Jacob.
